A return to Vice City has been a long time coming. And, from what we’ve seen of GTA 6 so far, it will at least partially feel like a homecoming for those of us who were there for Rockstar’s iconic PS2 tribute to Scarface. The 1980s may now be so far in the rear-view that our new protagonists weren’t even alive to see them, but there’s still echoes of the synthwave decade on the city’s streets: a retro Grotti Cheetah, neon-lit hotels overlooking the boardwalk, Phil Cassidy selling lethal merchandise, and a certain Vercetti Estate. It’s clear that Rockstar intends to spend at least a little time reveling in our nostalgia for Vice City.

“Last Man in Tower,” the Aravind Adiga adaptation starring Manoj Bajpayee, is headed to Indian theaters this September and has unveiled its first teaser.

International buyers have pounced on Ali Asgari’s Iranian drama A Bit of Light ahead of its world premiere in competition at the Venice International Film Festival next month.
Paris- and Berlin-based sales company Salaud Morisset has closed deals for the film for much of year, with sales to France (Haut et Court), Italy (Teodora Film Distribuzione), Spain (La Aventura Cine), Switzerland (Trigon Film), Benelux (September Film Distribution), Bulgaria (Beta Film Ltd.), and Greece (Filmtrade), as well as Brazil (Imovision). The company says it has offers under negotiation for the U.K., Germany, and Central Europe.

Country music icon Dolly Parton died peacefully at the age of 80 in Nashville on Tuesday after a “brief battle with cancer,” her reps announced.
In a statement to People, her team wrote: “Our beloved Dolly Parton spent her life and career bringing joy, laughter, hope and integrity into everything she touched.
