The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom pretty much always merits a replay. Or two. Or fifteen. There’s always another sky island you’ve skipped, or a cave you haven’t fully explored. But searching for Princess Zelda and saving the kingdom of Hyrule in the exact same way does stop being enough of a hook for you to hit ‘new game’ …eventually.

After seeing open-world imm-sim No Law last month, I'm sure the developers would hope I was gripped by memories of missions you can approach stealthily or in all-out action, the sci-fi combat where you wield slow-time grenades and cyberpunk implants, or even the powerful kick you can use to boot open locked doors. But, no, what I keep thinking about is the corner shop where protagonist Grey Harker, an ex-soldier on a murderous rampage to take down Port Desire's four corrupt mayors, stopped to pick up some batteries.
You know the drill. Deep discounts up the wazoo, stickers to earn, and new stuff in the Points Shop, all of it adding up to Valve-powered seasonal trauma inflicted on your personal finances.
I'm modding GTA 5 every day in a quest to either transform it into a PC version of GTA 6 or break it entirely. Come back tomorrow to find out what new horrible thing I've done to Rockstar's baby, or check out what I got up to earlier.
You will have to remember your password and dig out a 2FA code probably. Sorry.
Is this really worth logging in for? Do you know how long it takes to log in to a thing?
I'm afraid it very much is worth logging in for, reader I just made up. Nightdive's System Shock 2 remaster is an absolute delight, and the fact it's being given away for free barely a year after release feels like a crime. Fortunately, it's a crime you and I stand to benefit from. That's the good kind of crime.
UPDATE:
Blizzard Community Manager Kaivax has posted on the WoW forums reiterating the policy against real money trading. Blizzard will also be implementing a warning that'll pop up in your trade window that'll warn you about accepting large amounts of gold from people you don't know. The post makes it clear that "our stance on RMT in World of Warcraft is crystal clear: any account belonging to any player that is found to have participated in generating, selling, buying, or receiving illicit gold is subject to the gold being removed, account suspensions, or permanent account closures." Original story continues below.
Is this a piss take? Okay, this is definitely a piss take. Google Japan has posted a YouTube video showcasing the new Gboard Conveyor Belt Version. What we are talking about here, people, is "a keyboard whose keys are delivered straight to your finger tips." Literally.
