The 2028 Volvo XC60 benefits from yet another refresh, one that brings even prettier styling and an upgraded powertrain.
Along with redesigned front and rear ends, the compact luxury SUV’s plug-in hybrid powertrain now offers 78 miles of pure-electric driving range.
The new XC60 will go on sale sometime early next year, and Volvo says pricing will be similar to the current version, which starts at just over $51,000.

Car engines aren't meant to be dunked in water, but a Geely-backed company called Horse Powertrain has now built one that's apparently waterproof. Horse Powertrain is a joint venture between Renault and Chinese auto giant Geely, providing parts to Renault Alliance-mates Nissan and Mitsubishi, and Geely-owned Volvo. Horse brought out the waterproof B20 engine at this year's Beijing Auto Show, and it's called the B20 (no Honda relation).
