House of the Dragon's season 3 finale saw Rhaenyra as the troubled Targaryen learned that her half brother Aegon had risen from the dead (and so had his dragon). The inevitable attack on Tumbleton threatened to make the episode a dour affair full of dragon-sized chickens coming home to roost. Yet the siege wasn't a series of rough losses and tragic endings.
