Baldur’s Gate 3 has been out for three years. In that time, it has been fully datamined, endlessly modded, and picked apart by millions of detail-loving players. You might be tempted to think that everything to be discovered in the game has come to light. You’d be wrong. This month, a Redditor unearthed a line of dialogue that only plays if you’re a mind flayer before the first act even begins — voiced by an actor who left before the game launched. And that’s just one small finding from the Baldur’s Gate 3 community’s crowdsourced, unofficial preservation society. This year alone, modders have resurrected an entire scrapped fan-fave dream visitor.

Pokémon Pokopia player discovers method to get Pokémon from past events

Since Pokémon Pokopia was released in March 2026, it has had a number of in-game events, with each one introducing new Pokémon. Examples include the entire Hoppip evolution line, Sableye, Jirachi, and right now, Feebas and Milotic are both available as part of the "Fetching Scales for Feebas" event.

I'll be honest, having just watched the latest trailer for Kingdom Hearts 4, I'm less confident I know what's going on in the game. Protagonist Sora's in a realm visually inspired by Mexican Día de Muertos celebrations, while Donald Duck and Goofy ship of the Greek underworld, then end up as force ghosts before rocking up in the Mexican realm without Sora. At least the game's freshly announced release window is less confusing to non-hearts heads. It's due out in late 2027.

Lord of Undead is a "grim" third-person RPG about building an army of vicious zombies in order to maliciously raze the villages of mortals. The goal is to defeat peace and innocence, all the better for evil to prevail. You also get to build houses. It sounds pretty fun and, as far as I can tell, it's the second most popular game releasing on November 19 behind GTA 6.

I think it would be a tad fair if you heard that Thimbleweed Park 2 is in the works and thought, "who funded that?" Not because it doesn't deserve funding, but because adventure games aren't exactly in vogue (even though it's not as dead a genre as many think), and also there's that whole video game industry crumbling around us day by day thing. When it was announced last month, creator Ron Gilbert said that it was thanks to the help of a private investor, and now the developer has shed a bit of light on how that came to be, and how that relationship works.
