What are we all playing this weekend?
Well? Do tell!
After months of umming ahhing over paint colours, covering our living room wall in little swatches of testers, we've finally got exasperated with the entire process selected Cherry Caramel. I would be clearing out the living room to start painting today, but, honestly, after the surprise DIY of an exploded sink yesterday, maybe what's called for is some gaming.
Nothing to do with either piping, water levels, or interior design. Sorry, Pipemania, Bioshock, and House Flipper.
Enough about my exploded sink, though, he's what everyone else is up to this weekend.

I’ve dedicated myself to finishing Zero Company, but a new seductive mistress by the name of Galactic Racer has sauntered into my life, and I can’t stop thinking about her. As I type this on my keyboard, all I can think about is how unsatisfying it is compared to plonking in my start-up checks and hearing those sick womp-womp sounds as my engine roars to life. Even writing that has me looking at the clock, counting down to the moment I can smash Biddy Blas into the nearest boulder.

I'll be continuing with Castlevania: Belmont's Curse this weekend as I chip away at our walkthrough on my way towards 100%. Alucard's Sword and Shield shall be mine, I say!

Prior commitments mean this is unlikely to be a games-playing weekend for me, though given the slightest chance I will try to resume Mortal Shell II. I picked it up earlier this week, as part of an ongoing effort to bury into my colleagues' minds that definitely has nothing to do with this year's Advent Calendar.

I'll look to continue my new Factorio game with my brother this weekend. We haven't got far quite yet, just setting up our first full belts of iron and copper. The cool stuff comes next. Besides that, I still haven't experienced the new rainy weather in Wardogs, so I'll probably dip into that at some point soon.

I'm honour-bound to put in some more hours with American Truck Simulator's Road Trip update. I've also temporarily yanked the mods out of my Cyberpunk 2077 setup so I can give the Edgerunners 2 update's additions a go via an older unmodded save, thereby avoiding the need to waste time checking every last thing in my load order is ready to work perfectly with the latest version of the game. I will do so eventually. Ask me if it's sorted when June next year rolls around.

This weekend I'll be revisiting a certain roguelite for an extra-curricular project, and also, playing a game that has airships in.

I managed to play a little Dreadline Express this week, but really it was just dipping a toe in and playing through what I'd already seen at Gamescom. Hopefully I can find a few hours to ride its weird, creepy train again this weekend.
