Over the last few days, Roblox's 2026 Developers Conference was held in San Jose, California, and one of Roblox CEO David Baszucki's on-stage introduction's hit something of a hitch. Roblox YouTuber Mathieo took to the stage shouting, "We deserve better, don't we deserve better," while revealing a shirt that read "Kids deserve better," until he was quickly tackled and escorted out.

Where did all the time go

Echo Weaver is a platformer due to arrive next month from Moonlight Kids, known for 2021 hit The Wild at Heart. It’s also a Metroidvania that feels a bit like a roguelite, but with more emphasis on puzzles and hand-crafted stages. Put another way, it’s a comfortably familiar adventure that’s also a little different from anything you’ve played before.

All signs have pointed to Wardogs being a hit for a while now. Its beta weekend in August was rapturously received, with half a million players lining up to check out its prerelease playtest. Nintendo's Switch 2 remake might not be as cute as you think

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a fairy tale, more so even than most other Zelda games. Recognizing this is key to understanding (if not necessarily liking) the visual approach Nintendo has taken for the remake of the 1998 classic, as I wrote when discussing its masterful take on Hyrule Field. I think it's supposed to look romantic, densely and lushly illustrated, like the painted cover of an old storybook.
