After exactly two years in early access, shoujo-ified farm sim Fields of Mistria 1.0 is launching. Whether you've been playing consistently all this time or coming back after trying it two years ago, here's what you need to know about what's changing in the full release version of Mistria.
Alien: Isolation's aliens were an "easier design challenge", says Gary Napper

Former Rare design director Gary Napper has shared a little about what his forthcoming dinosaur survival project The Lost Wild shares with Rare's mysterious nature fable Everwild, which was cancelled by Microsoft during a round of Xbox cuts last summer. He's also said more about how The Lost Wild compares to the game Napper is best known for, Creative Assembly and Sega's Alien: Isolation. According to Napper, Isolation was in some ways an "easier design challenge" than both Everwild and The Lost Wild, because there was less need to make the Alien feel like it had an agenda besides trying to murder the player.
Toby Longworth is a titan (no, not that kind) of Warhammer 40k voicework—one of the most prolific narrators of Black Library novels there is. For years, he's narrated Dan Abnett's work, widely agreed to be the best 40k has to offer, including the hugely popular Eisenhorn and Gaunt's Ghosts series.
Chinese memory manufacturer CXMT is the fourth-biggest memory maker in the world, and, chances are you've only heard of it recently. That's because, just last week, its shares saw a 466% surge as it made its initial public offering, becoming one of China's most valuable companies in the process.
The Ninth Jedi embraces the franchise’s best moments and learns from its mistakes

It is a dark time for Star Wars. The Mandalorian and Grogu was a box office flop, earning less than the low-budget horror films Obsession and Backrooms – a failure that puts the franchise’s cinematic future in jeopardy. Ahsokaseason 2 was postponed until 2027 and The Acolytewas canceled. Yet there is a new hope. The Ninth Jedi, an anime first developed by Production I.G. for the Star Wars: Visions anthology series, is exactly the sort of refresh Lucasfilm needed. The stylish, heartfelt series remixes the most iconic elements of Star Wars to create something that feels vital after decades of iterating on the Skywalker Saga.
Growing up in the '90s, good joysticks were strangely hard to come by. The stiff sticks on my local arcade cabinets, already inferior to their Japanese counterparts, always seemed to be so worn down that I'd have to smash them from edge-to-edge just to register an input. And yet the sticks attached to my friend's dusty Atari 2600, discovered in a box of his parents' old junk, still managed to make the arcade cabinet sticks look good. Those things were so atrocious it's a wonder videogames ever took off to begin with.
Remember those 'I'm a Mac, and I'm a PC' ad spots from years ago? Such platform rivalry feels like old, mouldering hat these days (especially to a console-gaming interloper like me). That said, we live in a world where both the MacBook Neo and the Dell XPS 13, two notebooks alike in dignity, are vying for the crown of 'most affordable entry-level notebook' at $699 a piece.
Big Hops is the cool 3D platform game with the frog who can use their tongue as a grappling hook. Despite much questing and fervent prayer, I have yet to encounter a frog that can do this in reality. Real-life frogs are a slothful, unimaginative bunch, content to use their tongues purely to catch food with. Some frogs, like the African dwarf frog, don't even have tongues at all. What foul sorcery is here!
